ABOUT STEPHANIE
Stephanie Fry, RN, RD, LDN, CDCES
Blood Sugar, Diabetes & Perimenopause Nutrition Specialist
I’m a Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, and Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist. I’m also a member of The Menopause Society and am pursuing my MSCP certification.
After years working in endocrinology and diabetes education, I saw how often blood sugar, insulin resistance, weight shifts, cravings, fatigue, and hormone shifts were treated like separate problems — especially for women in midlife.
Glucotrition was created to help bridge that gap. My work focuses on helping adults understand what is happening in their body and build realistic nutrition and lifestyle strategies that support blood sugar, metabolism, muscle, energy, and long-term health.
Clear. Collaborative. Practical.
Clinical Expertise
I provide support with:
Perimenopause and menopause-related blood sugar and metabolic changes
Insulin resistance and prediabetes
Diabetes nutrition and education, including Type 1, Type 2, LADA, and Type 3c
GLP-1 medication nutrition and lifestyle support
CGM interpretation and glucose pattern review
Insulin pump training and support
Weight shifts and body composition changes in midlife
Protein, muscle, meal planning, and blood sugar stability
Nutrition and lifestyle strategies grounded in clinical evidence
Certified pump trainer for:
Medtronic, Tandem, Omnipod 5, and Beta Bionics.
Based in Southwest Florida (Cape Coral / Fort Myers) and available for telehealth across licensed states.
I work closely with endocrinologists and primary care providers to support safe, coordinated diabetes management.
My Philosophy
I do not believe in perfection.
I believe in progress.
I meet people where they are — whether that’s feeling burned out, confused by blood sugar patterns, struggling with cravings, adjusting to diabetes technology, navigating GLP-1 medications, or wondering why their body feels different in perimenopause.
Education should feel empowering, not overwhelming.
My approach is structured, collaborative, and focused on real-life application — not rigid rules.
Perimenopause, Blood Sugar & Midlife Metabolism
In addition to diabetes care, I support women navigating insulin resistance, prediabetes, GLP-1 nutrition, weight shifts, cravings, fatigue, and perimenopause-related metabolic changes.
My clinical background allows us to look at the whole picture — hormones, glucose, nutrition, muscle, sleep, stress, and lifestyle — without diet culture or extremes.
Why This Work Matters to Me
Alongside my clinical background, I also understand how frustrating midlife body changes can feel personally. It is one thing to know the science — and another thing to live in a body that suddenly seems to respond differently than it used to.
I know what it feels like to wonder why the same habits are not producing the same results, why energy feels different, or why your body composition seems to shift even when the scale does not tell the whole story.
That lived experience has made me even more passionate about helping women understand their body without shame, restriction, or perfection. You deserve guidance that is informed, realistic, and adaptable.
